Custom Models allows consistency in style and characters when generating content, and models are kept private to their creators

Adobe Firefly Custom Models - Hero Image

Adobe has revealed Custom Models, a tool that allows users to train AI models on their own work.

This allows Firefly users to generate content with a consistent style, including keeping characters consistent across scenes. It includes preserving features such as stroke weight, color palettes, lighting and character features across generations.

All models created by Custom Models are set to private by default, so only the creator can use them. It is now in public beta.

Adobe has also expanded the number of AI models it can work with to over 30, including Google’s Nano Banana 2 and Veo 3.1, Runway’s Gen-4.5, Adobe’s Firefly Image Model 5 (now generally available) and now Kling’s 2.5 Turbo.

These additions come shortly after the company revealed QuickCut, which can turn raw footage into a first cut within minutes, and expanded image editing capabilities to add or remove objects, extend scenes and fine-tune generated visuals.

It has also given a first look at Project Moonlight, a conversational, agentic interface that works across Adobe apps to help you move quickly from concept to completion. It is now in private beta.
