Bangers & Cash indie lands contract to produce official coverage of the UK’s largest sports-focused festival
Air TV will produce the official coverage of the UK Festival of Sport, the largest weekend event of its kind.

Co-founded by England international rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, the festival takes place on the Pakington Estate in Warwickshire and offers more than 1,600 young people the opportunity to try dozens of sports over a weekend in July, with the support of sporting legends from across the UK.
Air TV’s coverage will see the team use a new Mobile Production Unit live outside broadcast facility to produce interactive content throughout the weekend. This will be shown live on the event’s big screens as well as on the festival’s social media channels and website.
Its coverage will include live programming of key sporting moments, multi-camera coverage of on-stage entertainment and social media highlights reels throughout the weekend.
Matt Richards, managing director of Air TV, said: “We can’t wait to get involved with this huge event and make use of our live production facilities in a new way.
“We’ve always been excited about the crossover between live in-person events and live screen entertainment, and this will enable us to add an extra dimension to this unique festival.”
The Yorkshire-based TV company is behind shows including Bangers & Cash, Yorkshire Air 999 and Warplane Workshop. Air TV also has a growing digital and live events division, with this contract marking their latest in the events space.
Festival of Sport 2026 will take place in Warwickshire 24-27 July.
