Manchester City has released a range of immersive content that’s available on Meta Quest.

The content centres on footage captured during the club’s pre-season tour of Asia. Fans can access the content inside City Space, Manchester City’s immersive channel on VR sports hub Xtadium.

During the Asia Tour, Xtadium developer YBVR captured a series of exclusive content moments from Hong Kong and Seoul, including player interviews, behind-the-scenes access, open training content, fan energy, and tour-day atmosphere.

The content follows Manchester City across key moments surrounding the club’s matches against Inter Milan in Hong Kong, the K League All Stars in Seoul, and Atletico Madrid in Seoul.

City Space also features open training content from both Hong Kong and Seoul. Rather than showing the games themselves, City Space focuses on the moments fans don’t typically get to see such as player conversations, training preparation, fan excitement, behind-the-scenes access and the atmosphere surrounding each stop of the tour.

“City Space is about giving fans a new level of access,” said Nashila Velji, head of marketing and content of YBVR. “The Asia Tour gave us the opportunity to bring Manchester City supporters closer to the club through player interviews, training moments, and behind-the-scenes content that fans would not normally be able to experience. It is not about replacing match coverage. It is about opening up the moments around the game.”
