Fiona Morgan and Jenny Collins join production company shortly after production company returned to private ownership

Whisper has hired former SailGP, Sky and XIX Entertainment exec Fiona Morgan as its chief brand officer.
In addition, the production company has added ex-Google and EA exec Jenny Collins as its chief people and operating officer. These arrivals come shortly after the company returned to private ownership, following Sony exited its stake.
Morgan joins the company after five-and-a-half years at SailGP, first as global director of purpose and impact and then as chief purpose officer. She has also spent over six years in senior brand roles at Sky and XIX Entertainment. At Whisper, she will be tasked with driving strategic commercial growth across key markets with a focus on expanding their brand portfolio, deepening commitment to women’s sport and diversity, and championing authentic storytelling, as well as strengthening existing partnerships.
Meanwhile, Collins was previously chief talent officer at Mayfair Equity Partners, and held senior recruitment roles at Google during over 12 years with the tech giant. She has also worked at video games business EA, and at Whisper will run the operational side of the company.
Sunil Patel, Whisper co-founder and CEO, said: “Whisper’s global multi-genre ambitions and strategy informed our decision to return to private ownership. A critical part of that is having a future-focused team in place to really drive our vision to grow the business exponentially and sustainably. Fiona and Jenny’s experience, positivity, and talent are clear. But what really impressed me was their energy and cultural understanding of what makes Whisper special to me - our people, reputation, attitude to delivering, and our determination to use that as the basis to achieve so much more.
“Whisper has exceptionally talented women and role models. Diversity of experience and thought is so important to what we do, so representation at all levels is something we constantly strive for.”
Morgan said: “I am energised to join Whisper at such a pivotal moment, working alongside a leader in Sunil, who recognise the importance and power of brand, storytelling, and purpose to grow the business further. It’s incredibly exciting to help shape and deliver Whisper’s next phase of strategic growth, while sharing a bold new brand story with the world, grounded in a clear ambition to disrupt and push the industry forward.”
Collins said: “Whisper’s track-record of organic growth to date has been impressive, as is their ambition to go further and faster. The ability to retain and attract the best people, while scaling operations and processes, will be critical to achieving these exciting growth plans. The leadership and work-place culture are both already strong and distinctive so, leveraging my experience in tech and other rapid growth-oriented businesses, I can take Whisper to the next level and beyond. I am particularly pleased to be responsible for implementing the employee equity scheme. Giving people a stake in Whisper’s future growth is the mark of a progressive business, and one that puts people at the heart of it.”
