Quantum Corporation has announced the certification of Cisco IVT (Interoperability Verification Testing) compatibility for three of its product suites.

The certification applies to Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) B-Series Blade Servers.

For DXi deduplication, Quantum’s DXi4700 and DXi6900 are now qualified to provide deduplication and backup for UCS environments.

For Scalar tape libraries, the company’s Scalar i40/i80, i500 are now optimised for UCS customers.

Quantum’s StorNext Pro (pictured), which enables collaborative workgroups, are also now certified to run in conjunction with applications operating on UCS.
