The number of people that have registered for Broadcast Video Expo is up by more than 10 per cent on this time last year.

The show is still ten weeks away but, with the surge in demand, organisers are predicting a bumper year.

Event Director Kieron Seth said: “This year Broadcast Video Expo is all about cost-effective technology and opening up new markets. The response we have had from exhibitors and the industry as a whole has been hugely encouraging and we are looking forward to a very busy show.”

Meanwhile, since October, more than 40 companies have signed up to participate for the first time at the show. These include Cisco Systems, DK Technologies, Riedel, Ardis, Phabrix, Alpermann + Velte, Adder Technology, Ikonoskop and Hybrid MC.

BVE features more than 300 seminars, workshops, masterclasses and conference sessions.

Major manufacturers set to exhibit include Avid, Blackmagic, Canon, Red Bee, Sony and Tektronix.

Visitor registration is open at www.broadcastvideoexpo.co.uk
