Internet broadcast specialist Roo has teamed up with web TV company Pioneer Online to launch downloads site FirstScience.tv. Pioneer Online, which launched sister site FirstScience.com in 2000, will charge users to download full-screen documentaries at prices from $1.99 (£1.02). Roo recently launched the FT's Daily View online programme and runs lads' mag broadband channel Nuts TV.
