BVE 2016: Root6 has launched a software update for its file-based workflow management and automation platform ContentAgent.

Version 3.5 includes a new ‘Edit While Transcode’ feature that provides the ability to begin editing while transcoding clips for an Avid Interplay ingest workflow.

The update also adds support for both FileCatalyst and Aspera WAN acceleration services for automated delivery as well as integration with NexGuard Civolution invisible forensic watermarking.

The Workflow Designer tool has also been updated.
