Shed Media has appointed former BBC Studios and Post Production resource manager Julie Sangan as head of operations for its post-production department.

She will take on day-to-day management of the post-production operations at Shed’s London and Brighton bases.

The appointment coincides with the expansion of Shed’s post operation in Brighton.

Sangan will report to Shed Media’s head of post production, Adam Downey.

He said: “Julie is a fantastic addition to the team and with her vast experience she’ll be central to continuing to improve the department’s efficiency and results, whilst looking at ways to aid productions further in coping with ever decreasing UK show budgets.”

Sangan joined BBC S&PP from The London Studios in October last year.
