Broadcast audio specialist Strongroom has invested£100,000 on an Avid Media Composer Adrenaline HD and an Avid Symphony Universal with 1.2 terabytes of storage supplied by reseller Altered Images in a bid to break into HD video.

"We thought it was time we offered the full service," said business development manager Rob Kelly, who has also upgraded Strongroom's audio kit with ProTools HD from reseller Scrub.

The company has a range of commercials and broadcast clients. Recent work includes BBC2's Living in the Sun, America's Hardest Bounty Hunterfor Bravo and Naked Celebrityon Five.
