NAB 2013: For-A will introduce the HVS-XT100 and HVS-XT110 HD/SD portable switchers in Las Vegas.

The HVS-XT100 comes with a separate main unit and control panel, while the HVS-XT110 features an integrated design.

Both of the units include mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronisation, multi-viewer capability, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE and keyer with chroma key.

“Our HVS switcher line has continually supported a wide variety of applications and operational configurations,” said For-A sales director Pedro Silvestre.

“We’re excited to introduce our newest models, the HVX-XT switchers, into the market.

“The series maintains the compact style of our previous switchers, but also improves upon our standard features with new functions that enable our customers to do more with a very cost-effective unit.”

The HVS-XT100 comes with eight HD/SD-SDI inputs and four outputs and one HDMI output.

A maximum of 14 inputs and six outputs or 12 inputs and eight outputs can be assigned.
