Tech company was already working with organisation on its FIFA+ platform

FIFA has expanded its agreement with Globant, to include launching a mobile app in time for the 2026 World Cup.
In addition, Globant will work on improving FIFA’s digital platforms, which will include AI and generative AI-driven enhancements, and create a a player data marketplace, which is a unified, secure hub for federations, clubs and partners to publish and exchange football data globally.
It also becomes a Tournament Supporter in North America and Europe for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. Globant will also support other key FIFA competitions, including December’s FIFAe Finals 2025 in Saudi Arabia, and the next FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027.
