The electric racing championship has teamed up with gaming studio Feenix to launch an immersive Roblox experience targeting Gen Z and Gen Alpha fans

Formula E has teamed up with immersive Roblox experiences gaming studio Feenix to launch Formula E: Electric Lap on Roblox.

The launch is designed to bring the Formula E racing championship to Gen Z and Gen Alpha fans. 

Electric Lap gives young players a new dynamic way to customise, race and express themselves across a next-generation virtual motorsport world. It blends Formula E’s racing with the social gameplay of Roblox, introducing players to a universe where speed, sustainability and self-expression collide, says Formula E.

The experience transforms core elements of Formula E – including Attack Mode, energy management and regeneration, pit strategy, tactical decision-making and multiplayer street racing – into interactive, city-inspired gameplay. 

Players can explore and compete in a wide variety of environments inspired by real Formula E circuits, global cities and imaginative fantasy tracks.

Features of Electric Lap include:

  • Four generations of Formula E cars (GEN1–4 from inception of the Championship to present day)
  • Official racing teams past and present, including Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan and others
  • Real-world and stylised circuits, from Miami and Tokyo to London
  • Deep customisation, with unlockable liveries, avatar items and UGC gear transferable across Roblox
  • Street-style multiplayer racing with strategic energy management at its heart

Formula E: Electric Lap will continue to evolve through Season 2025/26 and beyond, with new tracks, content drops, live events aligned to real Formula E race weekends, and feature updates rolling out across 2026.

The game was developed and brought to life by Feenix.
