Sport Buff has named MIchael Flynn as its CEO, and changed its name to Join In Live.

The new Join In Live brand identity aims to reflect, “the company’s mission to deliver cutting-edge interactive technology that brings audiences closer to the action, whether they are watching on broadcast, OTT or in-venue screens.”

Meanwhile, Flynn replaces Benn Achilleas, who founded the company and continues as its largest shareholder. He has over 30 years’ experience in sport, media and data-led technology, working on the likes of the Carling Premiership & Carling Reading & Leeds Festivals as director of sponsorship at Bass and founding dataPOWA, an AI sports data business acquired by IXUP.

Michael’s background in sponsorship, data and AI gives him a deep understanding of what rights holders, broadcasters and sponsors need, and he is well placed to lead Join In Live into its next phase of growth.”
