The central London facility has green screen spaces, podcast suites, grading rooms, a virtual production suite, animation and sound stages

Capital City College has opened Mosaic@Soho, what it describes as a state-of-the-art creative hub aimed at content creators, production professionals and storytellers.

Located in Soho (as its name suggests), Mosaic@Soho is a studio complex offering flexible production spaces. Facilities include green screen spaces, podcast suites, grading rooms, a virtual production suite, animation, sound stages, and screening spaces.

“We created Mosaic@Soho to be more than just a studio - it’s a space where innovation, industry, and inclusion meet,” said Simon Downing, chief commercial and marketing officer at Capital City College. “It’s Soho’s best-kept secret - but not for long.”

Mosaic@Soho is operated by Capital City College, one of London’s largest further education providers, and 95% of the revenue gets reinvested back into students’ education.

Capital City College says every pound invested into Mosaic@Soho goes directly to fund student bursaries, academic resources, teaching and support for student education and wellbeing.

Mosaic@Soho also provides the College’s students with real-world access to the industry, connecting them with live projects, professionals, and mentorship opportunities.

“Mosaic@Soho isn’t just about kit and space,” said Chris Morgan, commercial director of Innovation at Capital City College. “It’s about leveling the playing field, championing inclusive growth, and using creativity as a force for social mobility.”
