Greenwich facility aims to help underrepresented creatives with discounted studio space, catering, kit and more

Sugar Studios has launched Made Sweeter, an initiative that aims to help underrepresented and financially impacted creatives make their projects a reality.

The Greenwich facility, which includes both standard, virtual production and green screen spaces among its four studios, has opened applications for these groups here. Successful applicants will receive a bespoke mix of discounted studio space, catering and/or kit, as well as assistance with planning plus mentorship and collaboration opportunities. What they receive will be based on their timeline, existing budget, and project goals.

“At Sugar Studios, we want to give storytellers every chance to make their projects possible,” said Jo Wallace, studio director at Sugar Studios.

“Made Sweeter is about more than just studio time - it’s about fostering opportunity, building trust, and nurturing long-term creative relationships. We believe every creator has something valuable to contribute, and by supporting them, we can help shape a vibrant, inclusive creative community.”

Sugar Studios launched in 2018, and its four stages are a green screen space, infinity cove, a standard “big stage” and photography area. It has drive-in capabilities, free parking, an on-site café, and an on-request virtual production studio.
