Avid’s chief financial officer John W. Frederick has resigned.

Frederick, who also held the role of chief administrative officer, resigned for “personal reasons” and his departure is not the result of any disagreement with Avid, the company said.

His resignation will take effect after Avid’s first quarter results, which are due by 10 May.

Vice president of human resources Ilan Sidi has taken on the role of CFO on an interim basis.

Sidi previously served as CFO for Orad Hi-Tec Systems which was acquired by the Avid in June last year.
