How it was done Graded in Baselight by Kevin Horsewood, particular emphasis was placed upon differentiating between the past and present to identify the character’s different timelines.
For the modern day, Horsewood chose a metallic, contrasted look using a Baselight key to bring some colour back to the actor’s skin tones.
To give the 2008 storyline a lighter, more colourful look, he applied a slight fi lm grain.
Editor Scott Hinchcliffe created multiple visual effects using Avid DS, including numerous day-for-night shots, which involved adding rain and street lights, and removing shadows. Prime Focus’s Rapta system was used to deliver the rushes from location to post.
