Grade the TV and theatrical versions of the comedy travelogue featuring Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan.

How it was done
With footage captured in Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range (HDR) using an Arri Alexa Mini, senior colourists Dan Coles and Alex Gascoigne used Baselight to push the contrast and add warmth. They introduced rich and vibrant colours to complement the comedy while maintaining a naturalistic feel. The duo also subtly shaped the pictures using vignettes, further enhancing the depth and richness. 4K drone footage was then matched with the main camera footage. The HDR aided the drone shots and the Spanish landscapes, allowing more saturation and contrast to be added. HDR was also useful for dusk and night scenes, enabling a greater range of tones to be found in the shadows.
