UK Post, the trade association for the post production sector, has revealed the members of its inaugural board.

The board will comprise of chairman Mike Luckwell and eight elected members:

Colin Brown (chairman Cinesite),

Neil Hatton (managing director Frontier Post),

David Jeffers (managing director MPC),

Mike Kelt (chief executive Artem Visual Effects),

Charles Leonard (managing director Nats),

Nicky Sargent (joint chief executive The Farm Group),

William Sargent (chief executive Framestore CFC)

Dennis Weinreich (managing director Videosonics).

The new board - which was elected by a member ballot - will hold it's first open meeting at BAFTA on June 10th at 6.30pm. Its first task will be to appoint a chief executive to run the organisation.

All ten of the largest companies in the sector as well as 70% of the top 50 companies, plus the BBC, ITV and a number of emerging companies have already signed up as members of UK Post.

UK Post will act as a strategic lobbying body, support mechanism and voice for the sector, particularly in the areas of legislative and workforce issues and technical standards, It will also work to promote the sector both domestically and abroad.
