UKTV will unveil a “loveable and huggable” giant eye as the logo for new entertainment channel Watch next month.

Red Bee Media has created the idents for the channel by filming the public's reaction to the 20ft-by-20ft eye in various locations around the UK.

Watch, which launches on 7 October, is part of the next wave of UKTV channel rebrands. It was previously UKTV Gold+1 and will be the home of the new Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan chatshow.

As well as Watch, UKTV is launching crime channel Alibi as a replacement for UKTV Drama and dropping the UK prefix from UKTV Gold.
