Brief Picture and audio post-production on the six-part crime drama about a 39-year-old ‘cold’ murder case.

How it was done Director Andy Wilson wanted to capture the look of shows such as 24 Hours In Police Custody to draw viewers into the investigation. As it unfolds, colourist Paul Staples’ grade refl ects the increasing sense of claustrophobia. The sound team created a realistic, detailed soundtrack to support the naturalistic tone and identify different locations inhabited by each character. Sound effects editor Joe Fletcher and freelance colleague Nic Allen captured soundscapes of London and Bristol, rural areas and coastal Suffolk. Overseen by head of production Harriet Dale, the team included online editor Simon Brook, supervising sound editor Chris Roberts, sound editor Sam Baker and dubbing mixer Karl Mainzer.
