London-based online video services firm Vision247 has opened a new office in the United Arab Emirates.

Former PR and events director Tanya Vidmar (pictured) has been appointed managing director of the Dubai-based business, which already works with regional broadcasters including Al Arabia and MBC.

She said: “As a vendor of IPTV and OTT content delivery and management platforms the company is in a prime position to support the development of free-to-view and pay TV services, delivered over the internet, to the new generation of ‘digital’ homes in the region.”
