Soho post house DGP has cut and graded A Bit of Oriental, a new show for Channel 4 produced by Spiritworld. The 1 x 30-minute programme is a light-hearted documentary that looks at the lives of Oriental women and how they are perceived in British society. Original digibeta footage, which consisted of interviews done in-house as well as some live footage, was colour graded by Robbie Hartwell using Discreet's Smoke to give it a "filmic and grainy" look. Maggie Blower did the offline and the online conform was completed by Kirsi Pyy using Avid media composer. Peter Hodges at Trident sound Studio did the sound dub. Directed by Sarah Spencer, and produced by Rita Shamia. A Bit of Orientalairs on 16 May.
