Radio production company Wise Buddah is moving into the HDTV and film markets with the launch of a 5.1 dubbing theatre.

One of its five audio post-production suites has been refurbished and fitted out with LM100 metering and Dolby E capability along with more seating.

Head of studios Dave Holt, who led the overhaul, said, “This investment is not just about positioning us as a 5.1 provider, but has also been about improving the comfort and convenience of the studio for our clients.”

The suite, which includes Pro Tools HD editing and a C24 mixing console, will be run on a day-to-day basis by the in-house engineering team.

Freelancer Fabien Dudragne, a former audio supervisor at Technicolor, will also provide engineering, supervision and training services.
