Former MTV Studios general manager Peter Wright has replaced Nicholas Taylor as chief executive of media technology group Metro Broadcast. Wright was previously responsible for heading MTV's broadcast facilities division, which served more than 30 MTV channels. It also worked with external clients including Nickelodeon, ITV1, Channel 4 and Five. Taylor, as reported last week ( Broadcast, 17.6.05), has left to become executive director of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Professional Services. Wright's appointment is effective immediately.
