Arri has released software that will update its Alexa camera range to support Avid’s DNxHD codec.
Software update packet (SUP) 6.0 enables in-camera recording of 1,920 x 1,080 Avid DNxHD encoded MXF files onto SxS Pro cards for Alexa and Alexa Plus cameras.
