Online music licensing hub CueSongs has won a £500,000 grant from the Technology Strategy Board to develop a music licensing solution for online broadcasters.

The firm, founded by Ed Averdieck and Peter Gabriel, will invest the grant in its CuePro project and content management system, which enables rights-holders to set licence usage, pricing and revenue shares for content in real time.
