TSL managing director David Phillips has left the company after almost 10 years.

Operations director Tim Williams said Phillips exited the company “to pursue other opportunities in the industry” and that no replacement had been appointed.

The systems integrator and manufacturer is now being run by directors David MacGregor, Julian Knight, Bruce MacGregor and Williams.

Williams said: “We’re currently putting the finishing touches to plans for the next chapter of TSL, ensuring we continue to be best placed to respond to the changing needs of the broadcast and professional audio visual industries.

“The board are genuinely excited by the opportunities this will offer. A further announcement will follow as soon as possible.”

Phillips joined TSL from Thomson UK, where he held the role of managing director.

During his time with TSL he oversaw the development of the firm into systems integration and products divisions he also set up offices in Dubai and Singapore.

Phillips said: “TSL is a first class company and I thoroughly enjoyed my time working there.

“I intend to remain within the broadcast industry and wish the TSL team every success in the future.”
