Jigsaw24 has acquired London-based reseller Square Group.

Nottingham-based Jigsaw24 said the deal would give it greater geographical coverage, with locations now in the Midlands and Manchester.

The company is also set to open new premises in Soho in a bid to boost its presence in the media and entertainment sector.

Square’s 85 staff have now joined Jigsaw24.

Private equity firm NorthEdge Capital took a majority stake in Jigsaw24 in April last year.

Jigsaw24 chief executive Martin Balaam said: “We are very excited to be joining forces with Square and opening the new facilities in Soho, further strengthening our position in our core markets.

“Jigsaw24 has witnessed strong growth recently and these important investments alongside the support given by NorthEdge will serve to accelerate our plans for the future.”

Jigsaw provides kit and integration services, specialising in cameras, post, VFX, audio, storage and encoding.
