Brief Capture the energy and scale of the show’s construction alongside the beauty of the flowers.

How it was done Creative directors Neil Harris and Tom Hodgkinson designed and directed the title sequence, which used a mirroring technique in After Effects to bond footage from four shoots. It is based on ‘floral’ geometry from footage of mechanical diggers and workers on their tea break.

Shot by DoP Toby Howell on a Canon C500, the biggest challenge was scheduling the shooting days to ensure flowers were blossoming and builders were working at the right time.

Archive time-lapse material was supplied by Neil Bromhall.

Compositing was by Steve Ryan and it was produced by Leanne Hewish.

It was composited, edited and delivered to site within four days of the final shoot in preparation for the live shows.
