Brighton-based BTV Post plans to bring south-coast prices to central London when it opens a new 2D and stereo 3D post facility in Soho in June.

The Greek Street-based operation will have a large 3D finishing suite based around SGO’s Mistika (pictured) and featuring a three-metre high display.

It will provide 2D and 3D online post-production, SD and HD mastering, HD dubbing and transfers, plus standards conversion for TV and digital cinema.

BTV Post business development manager Susan Tunstall said: “Our USP is our 3D experience, which we have been building up over the past two years. Also, our services, in general, tend to be very competitively priced compared with Soho companies. We don’t intend to have separate Brighton and London rate cards.”

Head of facilities Jeni Rouse will run the London branch.

BTV Post, part of the Electric Sky group, will open its London office on 1 June.
