Tyrell CCT, AKA Design and Absolute Cad have completed the building of a 1,700 sq ft studio on the tenth floor of online advertising firm Specific Media’s West End office.

The three-camera set-up, together with two Avid edit suites, will primarily be used for the creation and distribution of content for MySpace (which Specific acquired in June this year) and Specific’s clients.

But talks are taking place with broadcasters that want to use the studio and its panoramic views of London for their 2012 Olympics coverage.

“We have tried to make the facility as versatile as possible,” said Myspace Studios director Richard Jukes.

“We’re not set up as a facility house but if the studio is not in use we wouldn’t turn work away. It’s a full HD set-up and we are ready to deliver broadcast quality content.”
