The Visual Effects Company’s post arm 66 London has appointed Francois Cassin as its creative director.

The broadcast design specialist was previously the creative lead for graphic services at Technicolor where he managed Disney Channel’s on-air design studio (pictured).

His career also includes a four-year stint at Hobbins Sides.

At the same time, 66 London has bought Flame 2011 from Autodesk.

The new system has been installed in the company’s existing finishing suite along with 5.1 audio monitoring, a broadcast monitor, scope and a machine position allowing for capture and output up to HD 4:4:4.

The Flame will be used for 3D compositing, finishing and design work for both commercials and broadcast clients.
