Advanced Broadcast Services will provide playout services for three of Simply Media's television channels.

The channels will be Simply TV, Simply Shopping and the affiliated TV Warehouse which multi-platform content developer Simply Media manages on behalf of TV Network Ltd.

The Simply TV channel will showcase a selection of content from Simply Media's web-streamed properties including Avenue 11, The Baby Channel and Beauty Zone TV.

The channels will playout to the Sky satellite platform

ABS managing director Sass Jahani said: "Simply Media has proved the viability of the internet as a development base for new multimedia concepts which can then be cross-promoted to satellite-oriented viewers or matured into full-scale broadcast channels. These are innovative business models."

Simply Media operates 30 digital channels with six on cable and satellite. Its clients include Emap, Pokerzone and Warner Time Life.

ABS's playout operations centre in North London currently supports 40 television channels.
