Former Azule regional director Duncan Payne has been appointed to the board at finance brokerage firm Adamantean.

In his new role as director, Payne will be charged with developing the company’s broadcast portfolio.

Payne’s CV includes stints as sales director at WTS Broadcast and five years at Fineline Media Finance as sales manager. He has also previously worked for Charter Broadcast and Mitcorp.

Gareth Wilding and Samantha Arlow, formerly of Fineline, launched Adamantean in January 2017.

Wilding, the firm’s managing director, said, “Duncan and I worked closely together at Fineline Media Finance for over six years so I know very well the huge industry knowledge and know-how he brings with him. Duncan’s addition will further enhance our credibility, brand and reach”

Payne added: “It’s a unique time in our industry when clients need an impartial, knowledgeable sounding board and appropriate finance solutions more than ever. The unique skill set within the Adamantean team can provide these.”

Fineline became Paragon Bank Technology Finance in November 2015 following an acquisition.
