Former chief executive of Sega Europe and Sega America Mike Hayes has been appointed chairman of cloud video production firm Aframe.

Meanwhile, Gary Knight, who was senior vice president of marketing for Sega, has taken on the role of chief operating officer.

“Mike and Gary have managed hyper-growth businesses before at one of the greatest innovators in the entertainment industry - and we’re eager to be their next great success story,” said Aframe chief executive David Peto.

Before Sega, Hayes ran sales and marketing for games publisher Codemasters while Knight formerly looked after the marketing team at Electronic Arts.
