Apple is running an interactive ‘Meet the Expert’ web event on its Apple Online Store this week featuring the broadcast video editor Peter Wiggins.
The live web seminar and interactive Q&A session will look closely at how Wiggins’ uses his Mac-based editing suite and real time graphics software to produce video for sports TV and online.
The free event takes place from 7pm on Thursday 15 October.
Wiggins said: “Fast turnaround sports is the last bastion of tape editing, but being able to export a cut quicker than laying it off to tape buys you valuable time. Our kit was chosen because it gave us instant access to all the feeds over multiple workstations.”
The event will include discussion of Wiggins work on the Volvo Ocean Race (pictured) and the Tour De France.
