News agency APTN produced more than 1,000 stories during the 24 days of the Iraq war, all of which are now expected to become a resource for programming after being placed in the APTN library. One of the only agencies to remain in Baghdad throughout the war, APTN hopes to become a primary source for future programmes about the conflict. The APTN library is also beginning the task of retrieving and cataloguing the hundreds of tapes from the field.
