Arqiva has opened a playout centre for its European clients.

Based at the company’s Gerrards Cross teleport site, the new playout centre will provide broadcasters with a fully managed playout service in HD and SD.

Arqiva Broadcast & Media sales director John Bozza said: “Our investment in the new European Playout Centre establishes Arqiva as a long-term leader in the playout and distribution of international television.” 

Arqiva is also offering graphics, subtitling, SD simulcast and time delay services as well as co-located post-production and live studio broadcast facilities at the site.
