Arqiva has completed its acquisition of WiFi hotspot provider Spectrum Interactive.

As part of the deal, approximately 70 Spectrum Interactive employees will become part of the Arqiva group with immediate effect.

“This acquisition will strengthen Arqiva’s WiFi proposition and enable us to build a unique proposition for hotspot provision in the UK,” said Arqiva chief executive John Cresswell.

The acquisition gives Arqiva 15,500 access points in more than 2,100 locations such as hotels, restaurants and airports.
