Arqiva has secured a satellite distribution deal for Channel 4 HD and will look after transmission of the channel on Freesat from April.

It will also maintain the channel’s presence on the Sky platform and will provide encoding, teleport services and satellite capacity to enable C4 HD to be uplinked to both platforms via one transponder.
