Arri Lighting Rental has appointed John Colley as general manager.

Colley replaces Tommy Moran, who retired at the end of last year.

Reporting to Martin Cayzer, chief executive of Arri’s global rental business, Colley will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.

Moran will continue working with Arri Lighting Rental as a consultant, supporting Colley with the transition into his new role.

Colley’s experience as a lighting gaffer spans 15 years and includes 24 Hour Party People, Breaking and Entering and Eastern Promises.

“John’s experiences and personal style equip him well for the challenges ahead, and I am confident that he will build upon the strong foundation that Tommy has built to ensure Arri Lighting Rental continues to deliver for its clients, both now and in the future.”
