Ascent Media vice-president of operations Keith Williams has quit to join film and audio facility Goldcrest Post as chief executive of its UK and US operations.

The appointment of Williams - who started his career at Molinare 20 years ago - is part of a general expansion of Goldcrest, which four sound theatres and 80 cutting rooms in London, and four sound studios and two DI theatres in New York.
