Audio will be high on the agenda at this year’s Broadcast Video Expo (BVE), with the first day of the conference branded Radio Day.

This year’s show will see debut audio-focused exhibitors including Bel Digital Audio, Clear-Com and LSB Technologies.

Avid’s Pro Tools 9 Native and Dolby’s DP568 Reference Decoder will be among the new products being demonstrated.

Glensound Electronics is set to launch its Call Classic four-line phone-in system, a product tailored to the needs of smaller broadcasters running listener phone-in programmes.

HHB will focus on technologies including flash recorders and filebased audio.

Sonifex, meanwhile, will demonstrate Redbox 3G and HD/SD embedders and de-embedders, and Dolby Digital decoders and encoders.
