Bafta for Soundelux

Creative director Eddy Joseph and sound designer Martin Cantwell of audio facility Soundelux have won the 2007 sound Bafta for their work on Casino Royale.

Director Martin Campbell wanted to make the sound a raw, transitional experience. Joseph and Cantwell created a dense, multi-layered sound design for the film, made up of many carefully chosen individual elements that were based on the scene and the setting. 'You get a cleaner sounding film that really tells the story,' said Joseph.
