How many different beds have you slept in? That's the subject of 77 Beds, a short film by Alnoor Dewshi. The film stars Ben Whishaw, whose character, Ishmael, decides one sleepless night to count all the beds he has ever slept in. The film is a Home Movies/Sherbet production and is produced by Christopher Collins and Jonathan Bairstow. It was funded by the London Production Fund, Carlton and Film London and, following its screening at this month's London Film Festival, is airing on Carlton in January. Dewshi's film Spiritual Rampagegot a special commendation at the Edinburgh Film Festival this year.
