Brief Picture post for the feature-length festive special of Charlie Brooker’s dark satire.

How it was done Technicolor’s editing and design team, including senior editor and VFX artist Simon Giblin and VFX artist Andrew Maddison, worked with Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn and Gemma Kingsley of Painting Practice, which looked after VFX and motion graphics. The two teams completed around 250 VFX shots for the show. VFX work ranged from snow enhancement to TV, computer and phone screen compositing, as well as a real-life social media blocking effect that leaves some characters invisible to others.

Re-recording mixer Stuart Hilliker, sound effects editor Jim Goddard and dialogue editor Dan Green of Boom looked after the audio post.
