Blackmagic Design has released an update for its HyperDeck solid-state disk (SSD) recorder.
Version 3.6 adds support for Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) to HyperDeck Shuttle 2, as well as closed-caption support for all HyperDeck models.
“Recording ProRes 422 (HQ) straight to disk now costs less per minute than recording to professional tape,” said Blackmagic chief executive Grant Petty.
