London animation and graphics house Blue Zoo will move to new premises this month after outgrowing its current offices, writes Will Strauss.

The two-year-old company, responsible for The Waiting Game opening titles, the CBBC animated series Blue Cowand the Toon Disney on-air graphics package, will relocate from its Regent Street base to a new facility on Rupert Street which is twice the size of the current one. Business has been so good for the Bournemouth University graduates that they have added a new permanent staff member - Sarah Bird who joins as 3D animator.

The new offices will also allow Blue Zoo to bring in three to four freelancers to cover extra work where necessary. 'Following a very successful second year, we're having to move and expand to keep up with the volume of work,' explained creative director Nic Sims. 'We're all really excited that things are going so well so quickly and [we're] looking forward to our third year which is set to be another busy one.'
